The empowerment of women would result in overall development of society both at micro and macro level. Active participation of women in economic activities and decisions, would contribute towards overall economic development. Women population is around 50% of the total population of the world. They have every right to be treated equally with men in every spheres of life and society.

Women empowerment is one of the things that I advocate about. I am a feminist, so equality is important to me. It is evident, even thousands of years ago, that there is discrimination when it comes to women. People think that men are better than women because they see women as weak human beings. I don't know how all of this started, but it's definitely not true. Women are not weak human beings because women can also be a symbol of strength. Women can do the same things that men can do. We must erase the misconception that women cannot do what men can do because they can. We must empower one another to rise above the hate and eventually, I know that we can all be considered equal with men.

Today, women empowerment is very important to be addressed by society. Women have vital roles in our community especially when it comes to education, health, social welfare and other sectors. Generally, their characteristic of being prim and proper help them to be disciplined in all kinds of works. Their knowledge and wisdom are always combined with their pure heart as they decide on different things. Truly, we are now in the era where men and women are both equally equipped. Thus, women empowerment would continue to rise and strengthen.

Women should be given equal rights as men.
